As a highly-motivated Physiotherapist with desire to take on new challenges, I look to being in a role that will help support my clinical development, as well as challenge me in new ways. I have a strong work ethic, adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills. I am adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.
I relocated to Melbourne in 2023, taking on a a private practice role which has been the catalyst for growing both my clinical knowledge as well as efficiency in providing excellent healthcare outcomes for my patients. I have since grown and diversified by working as an independent physiotherapist at a medical centre in Melbourne's East.
I bring 4 years of hands-on experience helping clients regain movement and manage their pain after physical injury or other ailments. I am well-versed in broad range of planning, treatments and modalities for restoring function and mitigating risk of long-term disabilities.
I have always been passionate about helping others throughout my academic career and continue to strive for new ways to expand my ability to do so.
I have a broad range of clinical experience, including treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic headaches/migraines, low back pain, joint replacements and neurological conditions such as MS and stroke. Not only this, I have experience in a broad range of fields such as geriatrics, outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, cardiothoracic post-surgical management, inpatient trauma rehabilitation and paediatrics. My placements have ranged from the tertiary hospital setting (Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, St John of God Midland) outpatient facilities (Bentley Health service, Child development services) and residential aged care (Aegis Woodlake).
As well as this, I have 7 years of experience in the Aged care field across both Therapy assistant and Physiotherapist roles. These experiences have been invaluable to my learning and growth as a clinician, allowing me to develop the necessary skills to be effective in my duty to provide care for others.
As the facility Physiotherapist, my responsibilities range from staff education and training to providing care and ongoing pain management services to the ~100 residents on site. In addition to managing therapy services provided at a facility-level, I am also responsible for the following:
