  • Suffered sudden kidney failure in 2007 and commenced renal dialysis. Underwent renal transplant in 2009 which subsequently failed, forcing a return to dialysis. Trained in and commenced home 'nocturnal' dialysis in 2010. This regime of treatment continues to the present day.
  • After experiencing the amazing benefits of 'nocturnal' dialysis, became a passionate advocate of this form of treatment
  • Produced short videos promoting the benefits of nocturnal dialysis, including 'Stayin' Alive - Dialysis Night Fever'. Though aimed primarily at an indigenous audience, it had widespread appeal and became an international hit, garnering over 100k views on various platforms.
  • Presented widely at numerous Renal Conferences, both here in Australia and internationally in Germany and New Zealand
