While looking online trending prices and visiting suppliers factory, a Key to negotiate the best price with the suppliers and the source is to have more information about the goods before buying it, in that way the organisation doesn't get affected with the wrong purchase as most of the time supplier can increase cost price for some store and have low for others, so it is very important to be meticulous.

I have also visited warehouse and looked production of goods even before they were imported and placed in to our stores.

One of the key to succeed as buyer it's not just buying goods, but analyze online purchases from customers, store sales and reports from people who work in stores and find out what people needs and what they usually buying in order to have smooth sales.

Very often, I run reports in order to find all information needed for currently sales and future purchases.

I have Monitored and analyzed sales records, trends or economic conditions to anticipate consumer buying patterns and determine suitable type and quantity of company inventory items.

Reviewed each store location's buying trends to ascertain correct assortment of stock/goods for maximum sales and profits.

Due to my previously experience back home I have joined Foodworks in this time of my life and with enthusiasm took a job as a Grocery Manager in Lorne, who gave me the opportunity to improve and become an expert in buying goods while I have also enjoyed different tasks in store.

One of the common job involved were:

Approaching customers and provide very high level of service and support, helping find desired products and items.

When I started to work in Foodworks the store did not have many choices of international food and/or any of particularly other product while was a great store we would have always customer asking for products that we did not stock by that time.

The property decided to increase the store capacity and while I had support from my store manager who give me the opportunity to ''define" and improve our store with the chance of bringing in (when possible) what customer asked for.

As per today, we have more than 5000 new lines than before and the store that I worked in for this timeframe is considered from many customers better than many stores on the coast but even more than the city.

Beside the history of my own work I was given people task and duties and clearly communicate with all of them, in order to complete all jobs assigned from the store manager.

Reviewed inventory levels on monthly basis and placed orders for products and merchandise for restocking purposes.

Managed team of 6 staff in Grocery department generating more than half million in monthly revenue.

Provided exceptional customer service to customers, increasing customer loyalty 100%.

Implemented daily operating procedures to keep store clean, adequately stocked and well-organized.

One of the most fun about this job it was to have directly meeting with the grocery team and while we were looking to solve problems (not many there) and delivery the best service for customers and result for the business we also spent time together after work, so it was a very strong relationship with the team.

I have always maintained focus during busy times and supportive for other employee who could not handle stress very well and determined that the business would run smoothly most of the time.
