I’ve been working at Home Support Association for 18 years, during this time the majority of my role has been as a dedicated Support Worker and as a Team Leader for a SIL residence. In these roles I’ve enjoyed my share of challenging situations and some very memorable and rewarding moments working with diverse clients and co-workers. I’ve learned a lot of varied skills in managing difficult situations, time management and working well within a team.
I've also gained administrative and computer skills within these roles. I believe I’m an organized and dependable person that is successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am always willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
I'm passionate about providing quality support to our service users and during my time as a Support worker I've worked very hard to build a professional rapport with service users that support them in working towards and achieving their goals.
Throughout the time I've worked with HSA I've always found it to be a very supportive organization that encourages their staff to learn and grow professionally. When I saw that this role was available I thought it would be a great learning opportunity to build upon my skills and experiences.
I hope you will consider me for this position.
