Roles And Responsibilities
Provided patient care to the elderly, living with Dementia, in a secure/locked Dementia Unit, when I was working as an AIN. Started in September 2016, as an EEN in a high care and low care unit When working in the role as an AIN, assisting the Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses and helping patients as required to eat, toileting, bathe, walk, conduct daily activities and manage behaviors associated with Dementia. Working in the role as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, To administer medication, wound care, clinical skills and working in multidisciplinary teams. Always remembering to work under the direct supervision of the RN. Perform all duties following professional age care standards and the organizational protocols at the facility. Record-continence, behaviors/ACAT fees and all necessary Documentation within the scope of an AIN and as a EEN. Monitor the condition of patients and alert registered Nurse to any concerns or negative changes. Maintain positive, caring, patient and friendly demeanor at all times.
