I am semi-retired yet find great enjoyment in my work with children, which involves caring for and teaching them life skills, as well as providing experiences they may have missed out on, such as fishing, cooking, games, art, and education about life, friendships, and cultural awareness. Additionally, I assist in caring for my mother, primarily by managing appointments and spending quality time with her. I am also actively involved in teaching swimming to students of all ages, many of whom have special needs; I find this work particularly rewarding as I witness their progress in achieving their goals. In my personal time, I enjoy gardening, fishing, and undertaking various home improvement projects, as I appreciate change within my living environment. I also take pleasure in entertaining friends, socializing, and embracing life in general. I am the proud mother of a 35-year-old daughter, who resides with me; she keeps me invigorated in a positive manner. I motivate her to complete her nursing degree, and in turn, she inspires me in my pursuits.
