Work History

Prior to 2020 - I worked in a variety of fields

Travel industry - I had an 18 year stint overseas working in Travel and tourism. Leading tour groups in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Antarctica, South and Central America. I also worked as a tour driver in Africa and South America driving and maintaining tour trucks. Eventually settling in Peru to run operations for a travel company and perform fleet management for our 14 tour trucks. I learnt organisational skills, people and communication skills as well as how to manage staff, groups and coworkers in difficult and trying situations.

After returning to Australia - I had a further 8 years working in Travel - selling tour packages to South America. Covid bought and end to that and in 2020, I started in civil construction to make use of my previous acquired plumbing skills (5 years as apprentice and Qualified plumber).

I also had a 5 year stint with a second job driving HC trucks locally and fork lifts for an interstate trucking company.

I can provide further info on any of the above roles if deemed relevant.
