In 17 years employed at this Council, I have gained vast experience in a variety of administrative tasks, and in doing so I have gained a strong insight into the roles performed by many of our staff here at City of Moreton Bay. I have also developed a good rapport with many staff across our organization.
My current role as Stores Officer often presents challenging needs. But I am extremely resourceful and very experienced, and always strive for positive outcomes. I achieve results!
In a previous role as an IT Supervisor, I managed the maintenance agreements for our printing machines, and IBM mainframe hardware. I was also often tasked with negotiating with management and suppliers to implement large engagements. For example, implementing a new telephone system across 3 separate sites for the Brisbane branches of the organization. And implementing a bar code scanning system into one of the warehouses for random weight recording. This was a new concept at the time for this organization.
My listed education achievements demonstrate that I have the aptitude to learn technical aspects of many sought after skills.
My Construction Induction Card competency was obtained in 2006. I currently hold a C class driver's license, which I have held continuously since the age of 17. I also hold a current Forklift License.
