Romina Rismanchian

Originally from Iran, I made the life-changing decision at the age of fourteen to move to the UK in search of greater freedom, stability, and academic opportunity. Adjusting to life in a multicultural boarding school strengthened my independence, resilience, and adaptability, while also improving my English and cultural awareness.

My passion for languages and global cultures has driven me to study Arabic and French b2 , and Turkish(c1 level ), and inspired my interest in sociology and independent learning. Coming from a business-focused family, I developed a deep curiosity for the corporate world and pursued Business and A-level Mathematics, where I discovered a strong interest in accounting.

Alongside academics, I’ve taken on leadership roles as Boarding House Captain, supported younger students through mentoring and tutoring, and organised charity events. These experiences have helped me grow into a responsible, driven, and empathetic individual with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Achieved strong academic results, improving my grades significantly to secure predicted A*AAB at A-level, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and a commitment to excellence in my studies.
• Developed fluency in multiple languages including English, Arabic, French, and Turkish, enabling effective communication and cultural understanding with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Held leadership roles such as Boarding House Captain, where I organised events and supported fellow students, showcasing my ability to lead, motivate, and create inclusive environments.
• Gained valuable experience mentoring younger students and organising charity events, strengthening my teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passionate about pursuing a career in accounting and business, combining analytical skills with creativity and a strong work ethic to contribute meaningfully in future academic and professional settings.
