I'm from Whangārei, Northland, NZ and have been working in the electrical field for the past four and a half years. I completed my apprenticeship in Christchurch in late November 2024, and since then I've been back home working as a qualified tradesman in Whangārei.
Over the last few years, I’ve gained hands-on experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects—everything from general electrical work to heat pump installations, solar systems, and other heating setups, both in rural and city environments.
I’m a sociable, easy-going guy who takes real pride in my workmanship and reliability. Outside of work, I’m big on surfing and snowboarding whenever I get the chance, and I like to keep active and fit.
I first started with Revolve Electrical in February 2021, doing work experience every Friday while completing my electrical pre-trade studies at NorthTec until moving to Christchurch to complete my apprenticeship.
Since qualifying in early January 2025, I’ve been back working as a qualified tradesman with Revolve Electrical Solutions back in my hometown of Whangārei, NZ. Taking on a wide range of jobs, both residential and commercial—from switchboard upgrades, renovations, new builds, solar and heating and the full electrical fit-out of a few big projects, including Revolve Groups new office HQ. I’ve also been the electrical hand on a few solar installs and have learnt and am capable of installing residential heat pumps and ducted systems.
I completed my apprenticeship in Christchurch with Sharp Electrical, working on a wide range of projects across the city and picking up different skills from a variety of tradesmen. Coming from a smaller, more remote town like Whangārei, it was a great experience to be exposed to the pace and variety of work in a bigger city.
