Assess patients and residents and implement treatment as per doctor's directive.

As an 'After Hours Coordinator' be responsible for organising staff with their allocation.

Be responsible for ensuring patient care is carried out

Assess deteriorating patient, notify the duty doctor and follow up with appropriate action

Support patient's family and keep them informed

Attend to 'urgent care' presentations appropriately and

Delegate duties to junior nurses and other team members on shift

Prepare care plans for the next day and complete any admissions from previous shift

Replace sick leave for next shift when appropriate

Keep up to date with CPD modules

Follow directives from NUM,

Guide and instruct students as required
