These are some of the skills I can bring to the Kennel attendant position. My other attributes include working autonomously as well as a productive team member, and problem solving. I am a fast and keen learner and follow suggestions and direction from others.

I have been brought up around animals all my life. I currently have 2 dogs, a Shepherd x Husky that I adopted, he is 11 this year, my other dog is a Bull Arab x Dalmatian x Great Dane and he will be 5 this year. They are both large dogs and very strong, so I am experienced in handling strong, single minded dogs. I also have a cat and a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. I have a healthy respect for all animals and treat them accordingly.

I enjoy doing yard maintenance and have a Victorian drivers license and am able to drive both a manual and automatic vehicle. I have towed a horse float before and recently towed a caravan.

I am energetic and have a strong work ethic. I like to bring my best to a job and immerse myself in it. Personal and professional satisfaction are very important to me. As well as excellent written and verbal communications skills I also have a sense of humour. I feel this is an important quality in stressful moments.
