Rowan Cox

I'm a commercial and industrial electrician from New Zealand who has been in Melbourne for 2.5 years. I've been with Elon Electrics for two years, where I've run a couple of commercial projects, performed service and maintenance work, and worked with industrial control systems for freight and food production. A bit about my experience: I spent the majority of my apprenticeship working on residential and commercial buildings. I relocated to Wellington, where I completed my apprenticeship and worked autonomously with anywhere from one to three apprentices under me on projects for Solutions Electrical (WLG) Ltd. I have experience with C-Bus systems such as Dynalite, KNX, and DALI, doing switchboard upgrades and shutdowns, and managing my own small crew, which has really enabled me to grow my skill set and learn how to manage people. With all this, I feel confident in my ability to integrate into most electrical companies and quickly fill any skill gaps required to be a valued, contributing member of the team. I'm a driven and reliable people-person with a can-do attitude. I'm always wanting to further myself by increasing my knowledge of the industry and becoming a greater asset to my company.
