Administration Reliever

  • As an Administration Reliever, I play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the Emergency Department and various other hospital locations. My responsibilities include collecting and accurately inputting patient data at the triage level, such as personal details, Medicare information, private health insurance, and general practitioner contacts. I manage visitors by directing them to the appropriate areas and ensure that charts are systematically organised to follow the patient’s journey. Additionally, I handle the batching for discharged charts organising them for scanning. In my role as a reliever, I am also responsible for managing internal and external calls at the hospital switchboard, ensuring timely and effective communication across departments.
