- I work with kids ages 5–15 to improve their skills, confidence, and ability in recreational and competitive cheerleading.
- I create exercises and drills for athletes to improve specific strengths, and achieve goals.
- I work alongside a team of other great coaches, which allows me to learn quickly by observing others, as well as being able to communicate well to work together to make positive changes to the teams and club.
- I help build the teams, which consist of placing each athlete in a team that is best suited for their ability, while also dodging challenges such as avoiding putting certain athletes who do not get along together and changing the ages and athletes of teams to ensure every athlete gets a team they are happy with.
- Attend all the necessary courses and clinics to improve coaching techniques and ensure athletes' safety.
- I partake in fundraising activities to support, help grow, and fund cheerleading programs and equipment.
- I maintain records of attendance and competition scoring/evaluations.
- I have learned to adapt to and work with last-minute changes, such as an athlete being sick or injured on competition day and being unable to compete, teaching me to think fast and make suitable changes as necessary.
