Ruby Wimberley

Hi my name is Ruby, I am 16 years old and I am just about to complete year 11 at Burnside High School. I am really hoping to start doing some work experience in early childhood as I would like to do a school based traineeship. I am currently studying Early Childhood as one of my subjects at school. We spend time on a Thursday with the Prep class at Burnside Primary School. I love spending time with the children and helping them out with their tasks. They seem to be very drawn to me, I have made some really lovely connections.

I have every Wednesday off school and am currently working at Footsmart Podiatry where I am learning a lot of different skills.

In my spare time I love to dance and help out my Aunty and Uncle with my young cousins.

On the Christmas holidays I work at Agave Blue Western Boot Shop in Eumundi selling Handmade hearts out the front of the shop on Market day.

My real passion is being around young children. I seem to connect with them easily. I think I would be a real asset to your team.

At school I do dance as a subject and dance troop every Monday afternoon.

I do Calisthenics every Tuesday afternoon after school.
