Summary

An experienced Assistant in Nursing & Disability Support Worker who has just over 10 years' experience working in Aged Care and over 1 year working in Disability Support. I have good interpersonal skills, am a dedicated team player. I practice good work ethics and have a strong passion towards the care of the elderly, people with disabilities, people living with mental illness or are on their recovery journey. I had completed 160hours of work placement for my recently attained Dual Diploma in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs.

  • Support the Registered and Enrolled Nurses/ Team Leaders in the delivery of the highest quality of care to the residents
  • Attend to resident's weight chats as per care plan
  • Manage continence requirements for own allocation of residents within the unit
  • Accurately monitor and record TPR/BGL as per care plan
  • Attend to minor wound care for residents as directed by the Care Manager/Registered Nurse in Charge or Team Leader
  • Complete ACFI assessments as delegated by RN or Team Leader
