• Assisted registered nurses to enhance patient care outcomes by conducting comprehensive health assessments utilising advanced skills in vital signs monitoring, cardiac assessments, urinalysis, blood glucose level assessments, and managed acutely ill patients by administering IV medications; monitored for effectiveness of drugs and patient’s progress.
• Collaborated effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families to deliver age-appropriate holistic care and support to paediatric patients while fostering a child-friendly environment.

 Blacktown Hospital- Cardiac Ward, March- April (1st April- 12th April 80 hours)

• Acquired strong critical skills in performing cardiac assessments, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and escalating early detection of abnormalities by analysing heart rate and BP critically before administering hypertensive medications and seeking professional advice in case of altered criteria.
• Monitored fluid balance charts and administered IV antibiotics and fluids through infusion pumps by priming, calculating, and setting the rate of the fluids.

 Blacktown Family Medical Centre (4th Dec- 15th Dec 2023 80 hours)

• Explored how individuals subjectively experienced the illness by participating in acute care planning and reviewing the health checks for adults and children who came to primary care settings.
• Actively vaccinated the older population against conditions such as Shingles, COVID-19, and flu.

 Cumberland Hospital at Blacktown Hospital campus- Mental Health, (23rd Oct- 10th Nov 2023 120 hours)
