Born a proud Ngai Tahu woman from the Canterbury region of the South Island Of NZ.

I was trained in Polynesian Education and culture at Canterbury University by Dr Wiramu Hohepa. I have taught in Western Sydney, Fingal Heads and South Tweed Heads schools with strong Aboriginal enrolments and considerable community involvement all of which run strong cultural awareness programs.

I have been involved in a Māori/ Aboriginal cultural exchange programs at Fingal Head Public School. I have a deep understanding of the specific cultural needs and differences of indiginous communities both here and in New Zealand.
