1) My role within this company is fabrication/welding for products and components required for Helix Riggings and Fabrications clients. All required products are fabricated from Engineer Approved drawings, in certain cases welded products are ultra sonic tested for approval before site delivery. The majority of products are structural related. The company also has a vast clientele with a multitude of requests. So variety is quite common.
2) Fabrication of products using the relevant machinery required. eg: Mig Welding, Arc Welding ( mild steel, Stainless steel, Cast iron, Aluminium), Guillotine, Brake press, Cropper, Oxy / Acetylene equipment etc.
3) Assisting apprentices when required, in order to further their knowledge within all aspects of the trade.
4) Working with the Workshop supervisor in order to have the task fabricated on time as specified
5) Forklift usage to unload steel truck deliveries, as well load trucks with steel for site erection preperation.

My role was the same with this company.
My role with this position was to organise jobs for the fabrication staff. Delegate the various tasks required with the variety of trades, both internal and external. Throughout the city of Ipswich, all Steel products and structures were routinely monitored to ensure the people in all communities were safe, A large part of these procedures involved working with other trades in order to complete the project on a timely manner. Team work was very relevant with the completion of all projects when required.
Policies and Procedures were constantly monitored for safety of both employees and public.
Fabrication and installation of jobs was the role with the company. Site work was common, on completion of the jobs we would install the job.
Drive/ operate the company's 12 tonne, 25 tonne Franna Cranes when required. Be it for assisting in the installation of site tasks, as well customers that required a franna crane.
My role with this Opencut Mine was to assist with the boilermaking team and Plant operators to maintain the operating plant, changing screen decks, fabricating shutes and shaker plants as per specs from the engineer. There was a team involved in this, teamwork always played a large part.

The majority of this work was jig work, aligning the frames and welding them off as required
