My name is Ruth Woodroofe, I am 18 years old, and from Balaklava SA. In October of 2023, I successfully completed year 12 at Balaklava High School. I am currently a school leaver, who is looking for part time work to learn and develop new skills. I believe I have a friendly and outgoing personality, who is willing to learn new life skills.

I am someone who is very involved and committed to my town community, here are some examples.

Myself, and other adults run and organise events, and programs for local young children and high-school aged kids in the community of Balaklava.

The roles I have had in these organisations have included positions of leadership, responsibility for groups of kids, meal preparation, event organising etc.

The skills I have developed by being involved with this are responsibility, participation, teamwork, communication, and most importantly caring for the needs of others.

Having developed these skills, I am able to bring them with me into a new workplace.
