Currently based out at Sunrise Dam in the Goldfields, I started out my career with Barminco operating Haul trucks. In this role I was provided training and deemed competent in learning to safely operate the Sandvik Haul Truck's, how to safely be loaded by the Loader operators, delivering material to select locations & how to use a hand held two way to site specific standards. I moved onto the shotcrete department and was provided training in operating Mack Agitator trucks, batch plant operations, how to mix & batch Shotcrete, along with interacting with the Spraymec operator. As of current my role is a Shotcrete Operator, using the Normet Spraymecs I was provided training in operating the spraymec and correct spraying procedure (pattern & thickness). Once the shotcrete is delivered to me via the Agitator truck, it is pumped through the concrete hopper on my machine and I spray it accordingly through a high pressure nozzle onto the tunnel walls.

Throughout my time working at Bunnings I primarily worked in the Toolshop & Trade departments. within the Toolshop I gained a good knowledge when it comes to Powertools and Handtools. Aside from the training provided by Bunnings, my daily interactions with Vendors representing their companies granted me further knowledge allowing me to better assist customers. After some time I progressed into the Trade department, this was a good change for me, allowing me to broaden my scope and learn new skills. Here I was provided training for our online portal for special ordering, I worked primarily with Cement, Timber & Plasterboard products. I was also provided training with the cutting saws in the Trade department so I was able to assist customers with our Timber cutting services, I was also provided my ticket for the use of Forklifts & Combilifts. This was allowed me to assist couriers & customers with moving and loading heavy or bulk products.
