RS Pipe and civil are a pipe laying company with sites around the surrounding areas of Melbourne. I was based in Ballarat where my main focus was Forming man holes and pouring concrete for manholes.

• Building manhole form for the concrete pours and ensuring they were to client standards.
• Tying steel for the base of the manholes, Finishing concrete.
• Laying pipe from 300mm to 1200mm wide.
• Operating machinery such as Loaders, Dump truck, Moxy and excavator.

• Formwork
• Ardreagh Formwork is one of the leading formwork companies in Melbourne VIC, They are on all major jobs such as the metro tunnel west gate project etc, As well as this they have multiple Highrise building projects underway
• The daily Tasks I completed in Ardreagh are listed below
• Using Laser to ensure all decks are level before concrete is poured
• Building the deck, Using Dokadek system and doka table system. I can read Floor plans and lead the build, aswell as read concrete plans to ensure deck is built to correct height.
• Falling in with chippies to build stop ends and lay sheets on the deck
• General labourering – moving material cutting steel, site clean up etc.

• I worked as a formwork labourer completing such tasks as below on a daily basis
• Preparing the deck before concrete is poured and stripping it once done
• Preparing the trenches with the excavator operator before foundation
• Setting up props and pans
• Drilling concrete
• Cutting and tying steel
• General lifting

• General Carpentry work
• Standing houses
• Labouring
• Pouring and finishing concrete
• Occasionally steel fixing
• Site clean up
