Company Overview: Infrabuild is an Australian Steel company that recycles, manufactures and distributes steel products. Infrabuild WIRE draws rod to make wire, galvanizes that wire and makes it into fencing products that we sell under our own brand (Waratah and Cyclone).
As the Safety & Training Coordinator for Galvanised Products, the largest department in WIRE (Currently 130 people), I am responsible for tracking and aiding in all safety events entered into Cority (Unsafe Conditions, At Risk Behaviors, Near Misses and Injuries) as well as managing the training of all employees. This involves organizing training packs for SME’s to train with, which I then assess the trainees against. Running classroom training, coordinating specialist and external training and ensuring our training compliance.
