• Supervising the clinical competencies of all categories of staff within the hospital - an executive administrative role that ensures the learning and development requirements are met for the current year for all caregivers
• Digitally assigning and assessing course content related to anything from mandatory competencies, such as Basic Life Support, to specialist competencies, such as the Anti-neoplastic Drug Administration Course
• Directly cared for patients at least 30 hours each month to maintain currency on clinical techniques.

• Our Cancer Centre provides cancer patients with comprehensive care including the daily monitoring, recording and assessment of oncological conditions of up to 70 patients a day.
• Administering chemotherapy intravenously, subcutaneously or via a central venous access device.
• Refer patients located in metropolitan and regional areas on to allied health organizations that are able to provide post-chemotherapy/cancer-specific care

• Originally a Medical ward, 35 bed Thomas Furlong ward has transitioned to be a Medical/Oncology ward as a result of advances within the hospital
