Responsibilities

• Solid experience with steel fabrication, major infrastructure, and VIC & TfNSW projects
• Improving and implementing the company's system actively. Demonstrating a commitment to quality and safety
• Sound knowledge of preparing WPS, ITP, WPQR & Welder Qualifications as per ISO 3834, ISO 9606, AS1554
• Developing an inspection test plan, project quality plan, and quality control procedures per contract and project specifications
• Performing inspection for incoming materials, structural fabrication, assembly, welding, coating, and erection per standards. In charge of inspection activities at different stages of the project
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS/ NZS1, AS/ NZS 5131 CC3, ISO 3834.2, AS 4100, and other standards
• Overall Document control experience & Output MDR
• Supervising all welding in Workshop and site activities via leading hands and employees
• Ensure fabrication activities are conducted within budget and on time – Manage hours/ labor and on-time delivery. Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
• Ensuring the specified number of Work Lot Reviews (including the designated review time), NCR Investigation Form submissions and Process Control Verifications are performed each week where required
  •Assisting with communicating quality processes as requested including preparing and distributing procedures and reports
  •Liaising with the Project during the NCR Process when required

• Providing SWMS, and WMS for Site Installation based on each different project requirement and site conditions
• Checked technical designs and different project drawings for adherence to standards.
• Recorded daily events and activities in the site checklist to evaluate the process and improve productivity.
• Created work schedules and adjusted as needed to meet project deadlines and keep shifts properly staffed.
• Oversaw quality control and health and safety matters for construction teams.
• Developed a safety awareness program consisting of construction safety audits and safety meetings.
• Applied engineering principles to troubleshooting and followed up on defined corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Gathered data, incorporating it into drawings, schematics, and maps.
• Developed SOPs and change controls pertaining to setup, maintenance, and operation of equipment, facility, and utilities.
• Visited project sites during construction to monitor progress and consult with contractors and on-site engineers.
• Adhered to timelines to meet quality assurance targets.
