• Designing and manipulation of our manufacturing machinery, settings, product attributes and processes to achieve required fabrication outcomes for new customer orders/projects. This requires application of skilled engineering principles to resolve any design and/or operational challenges in both the product and production process.
• Understanding all requirements for individual client orders and engineering draft specifications for machinery plans and plant and as required modification to product parts for each project to deliver on client needs.
• For each new project undertaken prepare full documentation of plans of plant and machinery modifications including full cost plans for parts in terms of ongoing processing and for initiating the project.
• Manage and as required, supervise the adjustments, modifications or parts constructions for plant and machinery including ensuring processing arrangements are aligned appropriately to deliver on client projects.
• Arrange for all necessary parts, machinery or other goods, services to be on hand to effectively initiate and carry out client orders/projects including ensuring the availability of skilled labour (this is done in collaboration with General Manager).
• Manage the maintenance of agreed production rates and communicate any potential issues or disruptions immediately to General Manager.
• Monitor and optimise production (and associated costs), including continuous assessment of machine efficiency and suitability, making recommendations in relation to upgrades or modifications as required.
