I have learnt so much in my time working in customer service, The most important skills I have learnt and used in every job is interacting with customers and making them feel heard, time management which is absolutely crucial to having everything required when it is busy, and working in a team, as everything is easier when everyone plays their own role to achieve success. I also speak fluent Spanish, as I was born In Spain, lived there until I was 6 and still speak to my mum daily in spanish, which has been helpful to a few customers over the years.
-Continued to work in a team environment where everyone had to be on the same page to achieve customers’ expectations
-Learnt different cleaning techniques and expectations
-Provided excellent customer service and met customer wants needs
-Was exposed to many different customer interactions compared to the food industry
-Quickly learned the party section and was in charge of the department Thursday nights and weekends while in my senior year of high school
-The department consisted of taking balloon orders, organising them in a folder, making sure I had all the right information and making every order for the day, as well as taking walk ins
-I helped out other departments on a daily basis which included store tidy, collecting items for click and collect, serving customers at the service desk, checking out customers at the registers, and cutting in new clothes on the shop floor
-When I landed a job at Bunnings, I was placed into the Paint section and very quickly learned the basics of painting through training, as well as the computer systems to mix paint
-Bunnings is all about the customer service, meaning interacting with customers and doing everything in my power to help them is a large part is my job
-Bunnings has a lot of departments and we help each other out when we need it and work as a team
