• Deliver operational support and commercial improvements for over 10 different Qube Bulk East Coast operations. Operations include Stevedoring, on-road and off-road transport, Rail, stockpile management and mine to market logistics chains.

• Lead and deliver new project set up including tendering, operational planning, contract clarifications, client negotiations and commercial set up.

• Contribute to the Qube bulk Corporate team through delivery of new business opportunities, which underpin the ongoing financial performance, and growth of the business.

• Manage all aspects of the Autocare Queensland business (200 plus indirect staff)which include Transport, Vehicle Processing and Warehouse services with full P and L responsibility which included 16% EBIT improvement 2017 to 2018 FY.

• Manage all transport fleet assets and labour (including subcontractors) for state of Queensland to ensure strict KPI levels are achieved. Conducted regular performance reviews for over 40 operating drivers.

• Present Qube performance outcomes to key accounts on a quarterly basis and ensure that all commitments are met

• Project manage full contract implementation for Oaky Creek Coal haulage (QLD) and BC Iron (WA) mine services

• Assume role as lead manager in numerous tenders for mining logistics to market solutions throughout Eastern Australia and secure profitable new business.

• Container vessel planning under SPACS system at AAT Brisbane Terminal. Implementation and operation of PCC IT systems (Connect and Unitrack)

• Manage daily complex port operations safely and productively (as PIC)

• Liaise with Shipping agents to ensure on-time vessel departures

• Daily Microster allocation of labour and shift sign off

• Initially undertake all general duties of GWE classification including lashing, forklift operation, ships gear (crane driver) and clerical functions.

• Worked as Stevedore, predominantly in the roles of crane driver and clerical operations.
