I obtain satisfaction from having responsibility in a role that provides a positive contribution to society. I have experience in team collaboration with clear communication and I'am detail focused without missing the bigger picture.
Any short comings in my prior experience or technical ability will be ameliorated through a diligent approach to my work.
My current job has me going to a different part of Sydney every day, which I like, and being an Auditor will have me travelling to observe different organisations which is a type of variety I would enjoy.
My previous experience in the Justice Department has made me want to return to a role that upholds care in the community.
Team work, critical observation and methodical documentation are skills that come naturally to me and I hope to be a highly valuable asset for maintaining proper standards withing the Aged Care sector.
Working as part of a diverse team to respond to high risk situations involving, but not limited to: fallen trees, damaged roofs, localised flooding and engaging with large crowds at community events.
To enable this we maintain operational readiness through regular equipment maintenance and auditing, hands on individual and team training as well as completing online course material.
The fostering and maintaining of a positive public relationship with Australia Post through timely delivery and respectful personal interactions with members of the public.
This is achieved through a combination of collecting, sorting and delivering of mail, parcels, passports, license plates and medications, on any given Sydney postal round, while liaising with team members as well as Team Leaders and Managers, and training new team members as needed, in line with Australia Post policy and procedural requirements to meet our organisations goals for timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Critical analysis of information from various sources, including our Offender Information Management System, so as to formulate extensive court reports detailing the personal and environmental factors that contribute to the offending individuals reasons for being before the court and recommend if they are suitable or unsuitable for a community corrections order.
Formulating a plan for an offender to meet their responsibilities according to their community corrections order and, if necessary, notifying the state parole authority and or police of the successful / unsuccessful adherence to those conditions as per Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999.
Working as part of a team to facilitate a pro-social environment, with respectful interpersonal relationships, for recently released inmates, while keeping to the organisations mission of community harm reduction through understanding a clients risk factors for offending and developing, with them, a plan to reintegrate into the local community.
