  • Developed a unique hands on educational program for VET students to apply their learning in Aquaculture. In conjunction with a local Trade Training Centre, a small marine farm was purchased where all practical activities of Certificate I-IV in Aquaculture could be undertaken. The program also developed year long Aquaculture options classes for grades 7-9 students to give background to students before commencing Cert courses in senior schooling years.
  • I was the recipient of the Tasmanian Seafood Industry Councils 'People Development Award' in 2017 for my efforts in developing this Program.
