Duties include working with a team to assemble house frames, welding house frames and general labouring duties; stacking frames, cleaning the worksite and yard.

Duties include local council contracts providing upkeep of sidewalks, parking lots, parks, train stations, planters, installing plant material, mulching and removing litter to improve site cleanliness. Operating ground maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers and trimmers. Property maintenance including garden care, painting and demolition.

Duties include installing, repairing and maintenance of residential domestic water systems, new home drainage, tube out and fit out. Properly identify problems, make repairs and replace parts. Perform preventative maintenance and advise clients on proper care. Respond to emergencies during and after work hours. Listened to instructions from journeyman plumber, gaining valuable onsite job training. Safely handled tools and equipment in projects. Accurately measuring, cutting, threading and assembling materials as needed.

Three weeks work in Fitzroy Crossing lifting 6 homes in an Indigenous community above flood level. Duties include preparing beams for the homes to be lifted.
