Summary

I arrived here in Melbourne from NZ on 11/11/23 to be closer to my family who reside here. I'm a father of 3 kids.

I have been drainalying for the past 8 years in NZ. I love the trade, working outdoors and travelling around different sites.

I started off working for a residential drainage company which was a good foot in the door and where I started and completed my drainage apprenticeship. I then moved on to a bigger company doing commercial drainage, shortly after commencing employment I became the foreman and was running the entire drainage crew, soon after I became a certified drainlayer. I then started contracting on my own in early 2022, and had a small crew consisting of myself and 2 labourers.

Now I'm here, I am hoping to find a company that will take me on and give me a shot to carry on in the trade industry.

I understand rules & regulations may be different here, but I'm willing to learn and develop my skills here as a drainlayer.
