My name is Sam McCauley, and I am a second-year Landscape Architecture (Honours) student at the University of Canberra. I am reaching out to express my strong interest in gaining practical experience within the field of Landscape Architecture by contributing to your company. I am passionate about Landscape Architecture and am eager to apply and further develop my skills in a professional setting.
Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to work with a small Landscape Architecture firm based in Young, NSW. In this part-time role, I primarily focused on creating Photoshop renders for design plans, which has honed my proficiency in Photoshop. Additionally, I have some experience with AutoCAD and Rhino3D, which I am keen to further develop.
I also have experience working with Landscaping companies in Sydney as well as starting my own business with a close friend doing garden maintenance with clients around Canberra.
I am eager to contribute to your projects in any way possible and learn from your experienced team. Whether it’s assisting with small tasks, helping with presentation material, visualising plans or even doing the coffee run, I am enthusiastic about any opportunity to be involved.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team and learn from your expertise. Thank you for considering me. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.
Best regards, Sam McCauley
