Sam Mufale

I am an 18-year-old, hardworking, and determined student with over 4 years of diverse workplace experience. For more than 2 years, I have owned and managed operations for a sole-trader garden care business. I am a dependable worker with a broad skill set and a strong passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing. I am eager to begin a position with the VFA and expand my knowledge of conservation efforts on our waterways.

I spend most of my free time exploring the waterways of Victoria and New South Wales, fishing, camping, and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. I’m often at the Goulburn, Murray, or the Ovens River for the peacefulness and abundant wildlife. Port Phillip Bay and Western Port  are other favourites from fishing and kayaking or just enjoying the day out. Whether it’s casting a line or camping by the river, these areas provide endless opportunities to keep at my hobbies. I enjoy educating my friends and family about fishing on our waterways hoping to spark a passion similar to mine.
