Sam Owen

During my apprenticeship, I gained hands-on experience across a broad range of electrical industry sectors. Early on, I specialized in welder repair and maintenance, which required critical problem-solving and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. As my apprenticeship progressed, I expanded my skills to include industrial and domestic electrical work, as well as solar and battery system installations.

Currently, my work is primarily focused on underground, Level 1, and Level 2 electrical projects. I am responsible for high-voltage and low-voltage cable distribution within subdivisions, as well as cable terminations in substations. My role demands strict adherence to Essential Energy’s safety regulations, ensuring all work meets compliance standards while maintaining efficiency and reliability in electrical infrastructure.
