Having just worked on MasterChef Australia Season 17 and previously spending over a year as a chef at the Michelin-starred River Café in London, I'm looking for a new role within Food Media and Entertainment. I am a professionally trained chef with over two years' experience working in world-class pastry and savoury kitchens; from 110m superyachts in the Mediterranean, to London's most exclusive restaurants and hotels.
While working on MasterChef, the opportunity to assist in the development of the weekly pressure tests and produce showpieces for filming days, has refined my precision, technical pastry skills and the high attention to detail required for food styling. Meanwhile, testing the contestants’ recipes has deepened my culinary knowledge and further developed my analytical skills.
Spending time on television sets and in Michelin starred kitchens has also made me very adaptable and flexible to working with a range of personalities. As such, at the River Café I was part of a fast-paced team of thirty chefs, serving high-end Italian cooking to over 200 guests per service. During my time there I also contributed to the production of an episode for Ruthie's Table 4 podcast – a top UK food podcast hosted by Ruth Rogers.
Whether it's cooking in restaurants, testing recipes for food publications or creating showpieces for television sets, I take great pride in working with others to create an exceptional product and I’m very excited to further my career in food media and entertainment.
