• Coordinates with healthcare staff from various disciplines to devise, carry out, and manage personalized care plans to benefit patient health and recovery.

Orthopaedic Ward:

• Managed patients recovering from medical or surgical procedures, conducting in-depth assessments for example, spinal and neurovascular observations and pain assessments; and escalating concerns when identified to ensure best patient recovery.
• Advised patients and parents/caregivers' of proper wound management, use of slings or crutches and safe medication use.
• Educated parents on discharge plan objectives and booked follow up appointments.

Respiratory and Medical Ward:

• Managed patients presenting with both acute and/or chronic respiratory/medical condition.
• Confident in working with and educating parents about asthma, tracheostomies and home ventilation machines.
• Explained course of care and medication side effects to patients and caregivers in easy-to-understand terms prior to discharge home.

• Conducted pre-operative checks and educated patient's and families of the anaesthetic process and treatment and cares post-operative.
• Assisted in intubations and extubations and able to maintain and hold paediatric airways.
• Conducted ongoing monitoring and assessments of the patient both under anaesthesia and post-operatively in recovery, and updated clinical supervisors with current information.
• Worked alongside the Anaesthetist in preparing the patient for procedures, including cannulation, ultrasounds, inserting epidurals and central venous access.
• Ensured patient safety and dignity is maintained throughout the procedure,
• Administered medications and IV therapies to provide adequate and effective sedation and pain relief and monitored patient reactions post administrations.
