ACA Pacific Pioneers in in the value-added supply of information technology hardware and software solutions
Since 1998 they have linked Solution Providers with Vendors throughout the Asia Pacific region, identifying markets and technologies that shape the ICT Industry
Within both roles, my job is to create a seamless conversation with end users, as well as partners
This enables me to be able to understand end user requirements, without having to rely on the Partner
By doing this, I can then place the Partner in front of the End user, with all the information they require, with us all being on the same page
Once this is done, especially on the Quantum side, I can then engage the Quantum Technical team to take the lead - Then I can move on to the next opportunity
However, I do check in with both Parties to see how everything is progressing
Responsibility is mine to look after all the Quantum Renewals, to make sure that they are current, and to find any opportunities to upgrade
Once again, I reach out to the end users, start a conversation, and bring in the team behind me
ZOHO – CRM I have rebuilt the database, for the whole team, making sure that all details are current and up to date
All notes are relative, with each partner allocated to each Account Manager in each state
Each customer I am connected with on Linkedin, so if they move, I am able to update records from our side
The eDM’s have a 98% hit rate, and is kept very clean and current
Every day, I check all States sales reports, making sure that all new partners are also up to date within ZOHO – built from 50 – 4600 contacts and 3900 Partners and still going!
Cold calling is another one of my loves! Don’t know why, but I enjoy the challenge and the discussions
Also, it’s always good to see a good way to meet new people
I work also on EOSL’s – This is where I reach out to End Users that may have historically used a product in the past, and will work to re-engage them (This is why working with the End User directly is so important)
Working alongside Vendors is also fun – I organise events – from the Venue to the catering
Reaching out to the Partners, inviting them, dietary requirements, meeting, greeting, introducing and following up
Love being a team player - Making sure that everything is like a pane of glass for all
Gives the best results, making it easy for a team to work together – such a good sense of achievement
I think I just love communications
