  • Areas of responsibility include the Aboriginal Health Unit, Access and Resource Unit, Language services, Complex Discharge Planning and Pathways, Specialist Clinics re-design and chair of the SC advisory committee
  • Provide senior executive leadership/oversight over the Hospital Operations comprising key functions that underpin the smooth, compliant, and efficient operations of the hospital over a 24/7 period
  • The role also has oversight of and responsibility for innovation, reform, and compliance / governance, and leads priority projects / reviews including IT platforms
  • This is a senior executive role that sets and drives a climate of continuous improvement / reform and quality care provision and brings a contemporary approach to high performing operations

  • Led the Bossnet e-forms upgrade project
  • Involved in driving the Carradale standard operating procedure pilot, development and implementation in various areas at Barwon. Rolled out the SOPs for Medical Workforce Unit.
  • Overseen the development of the Cultural Safety Plan annually
  • Rolled out FTE trackers across the organisation and the Healthcare worker above ratio care approval and review process
  • Involved in the executive group for the Access Improvement Project across Barwon Health and the TEC2 project which is funding some of these initiatives. Executive group is responsible for overseeing the project development, deliverables and timelines. This includes the models of care, performance indicators and data/reporting indicators in conjunction with our business analyst and project team

I set up a process with Financial Control and Payroll in how to bill from a source of truth for operational hours of Junior Medical Staff worked. Set up contract management process for the secondment agreements at BH.
  • Stakeholder workflow mapping such as payroll and medical education and training (MET) including divesting workflows that sat better with core teams such as MET, Finance, People and Culture, Payroll, Clinical Units.
