Duties Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
  • Preparing meals and food items according to recipes
  • Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
  • Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and preparing, salads and desserts
  • Maintaining clean, hygienic kitchen workspace by sweeping, mopping and taking out trash.
  • Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Follow food safety procedure according to company policies, health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring supplies and reordering stock as needed.
  • Deliver excellent food service to customer.
  • Participate in daily operations including setup and clean down of service areas and all kitchen sections.
  • Storing excess food at the correct temperature
  • Support the manager in the overall day-to-day running of the business ensuring fantastic customer service, smooth operations.
