• As our farming interests grew, I took over the management of our family farming business. I have spent the last 5 years learning the business from the ground up, as I believe it is essential to understand all levels and aspects to the business. My duties include:

• My family owns an 8300-acre property in Cootamundra, within the Riverina district of NSW. It is a diversified farm that runs 7,500 cross-bred ewes, 500 Black Angus Cows and crops wheat and canola. I am involved in various labouring duties that include cattle, sheep and crop care and harvest.

During the last year of my degree I took up a position as an

accountant at DBR Advisory Pty Ltd. DBR is a privately-owned

wealth advisory firm offering a range of financial services,

specialising in tax and non-conforming debt solutions. My duties

included:

• Preparing individual and company tax returns

• Providing capital gains tax advice on a variety of deals

ranging from $2 million to $20 million.

• Preparing equipment finance applications. The deals I

brokered range from $50K to $500K. The equipment ranges

loans. The transactions I worked on ranged from 500K to $5

• Preparing commercial finance applications for loans ranging

from $5 million to $30 million.

developed simple excel cash flow models to help outline the
