Every thursday I go to PC engineering and assist in the workshop doing many different activities this many include servicing trailers doing wheel bearings, wiring trailers up, assisting in the fabrication of trailers, truck trays and other custom builds. This is where I have the opputunity to help weld, solider and find wiring faults.
I assist as been a farm hand on a broad acre farm for David & Wayne. I work weekends and school holidays. This is where I learn to be independent, getting put in all different types of machinery. This can include Spreading lime, rock picking, cultivating, spreading fertilizer and driving the seeder. I assist to fix any machinery break downs or problems.
Assisted in the workshop for a 2 week period along side Mclntosh & son mechanics doing a range of different jobs including- Rebushing a 60ft Morris Seed bar, replacing the A frame on a series 6 miller sprayer and doing a full service on a 9.90 New Holland harvester.
Went for a week of work experience as a boilermaker. This is where I assisted with the fabrication of many different projects. I assisted with welding, cutting, bending and plasma cutting metal to produce a big mould for the production of concrete bridge work.
