In my current role as Assistant Manager, some of my key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to Operational KPIs: Monitoring and implementing strategies to meet and exceed key performance indicators across the operation.
  • Training and Mentoring Supervisors: Developing and guiding supervisors to enhance their skills, performance, and leadership capabilities.
  • Generating Workflow Priority Lists: Ensuring supervisors have clear priorities to minimise downtime, maintain high levels of availability, maintain PM compliance, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Creating Reports for Customers: Providing accurate reports on equipment availability and ETAs to foster transparency and trust.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Addressing complex technical challenges to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration and mentorship with NSW operations manager: Collaborating in decision-making and operations strategy with the current manager, gaining key insight and learnings in operational management at TCR
  • Filling in for the NSW Operations Manager: Effectively managing the SYD operation during periods of leave, including a 4-month secondment of the Manager in 2021/22.

  • HR and conflict resolution: Assisting with delivering performance reviews, conducting Job interviews and resolving workplace conflict.

Customer relations: Developed strong customer relationships, in particular with key accounts such as Dnata, Virgin, Menzies and Gate Gourmet, by having a deep understanding of the airside operations, our customer’s requirements and delivering outcomes based on their needs.
