- Undertake Palliative Care Link Nurse duties including:
- Providing clinical leadership for other staff in workplace in regards to palliative care
- Act as a point of liaison with the Specialist Palliative Care Nurses
- Provide informed input into polices and procedures governing the delivery of palliative care

- Showering, bathing, sponging, hair washing, shaving, mouth and denture care, eye and ear care

- General ward amputation and support mobilisation as per plan of care

- Application of anti-thomboembolic stockings, simple wound dressings and last offices/care of the deseased
