I am an international student currently studying for a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland. I am doing my honours project under the Emma Hamilton-Williams group at the Translational Research Institute, developing an immunotherapy for Type 1 Diabetes.
I am an enthusiastic and open-minded individual with a keen interest in understanding and discovering more about the underlying mechanisms involved in diabetic immunology. I always had a strong passion for research as I believe that there is constantly something new to discover every day. Furthermore, it is essential to broaden our knowledge and deepen our understanding of the mechanisms involved in diabetes, in search for better treatment. By being actively involved in diabetic research, I am contributing back to society and to future generations.
