Project title: Sea Cooling Water Network Rehabilitation Project Inspection Works TA23.

• Inspection for defect identification, repair marking of internal coated surfaces (line repair/refurbishment project, which includes internal repair by blasting and glass flake coating, surface preparation, and application of FRP lamination/internal lining of joints) of 80”, 72”, 60”, and 48” seawater supply and return headers, and inspection and testing for piping fabrication, welding, related NDTs, and installation of valves for seawater header and branch lines.

Client - Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC).

Position held: PMC QA/QC Inspector (Welding, Coating, NDT, Insulation).

Project title: KIPIC Al-Zour Refinery Project, KUWAIT. Package - ZOR/EPC-045.

Project description: KIPIC, Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company, is constructing a world-class grassroots refinery in Kuwait with a refining capacity of 615,000 BPSD.

The liquid export terminal, referred to as a sea island, consists of a marine structure that facilitates the safe and reliable mooring and loading of liquid products to ocean-going carriers. This facility is a free-standing, piled structure, and provides space and support for ship-loading equipment. Pipelines, auxiliary equipment, utilities, equipment for the control of loading and shipping operations, accommodations for operations personnel, and access to these same facilities. The liquid products are transferred to the Sea Island via marine pipelines originating from the shore.

• Conducted surveillance and witness inspection for fit-up, dimensional, weld visual, NDE, and installation inspection of offshore and onshore piping and steel structures as per IFC drawings.
• Witnessed coating inspections for offshore (topside and flash zone coatings) and onshore in accordance with approved ITPs and applicable codes and standards.
• Witness, review (batch certificates), and surveillance for material receiving and storage inspection, personnel qualifications, ambient conditions, surface preparation inspections (conductivity, cleanliness, profile, dust level, chloride level, etc.), substrate temperature (preheating), coating application, post-curing, DFT, visual, holiday test, impact test, etc. For fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coating pipes, coating in conjunction with cathodic protection at submerged and splash zones, fittings, and pipe spools.
• Surveillance and witness inspection for receiving, storage, and handling of insulation materials, verification of release for insulation and surface preparation, inspection for thickness and layering of hot and cold insulation, stitching and fastening using wire, inspection for metal cladding, overlapping, banding, sealing, etc.
• Inspection for the assembly and installation of the sulfur conveying system (belt conveyor) includes the installation of a wet scrubber, magnetic separator, transfer towers, driver units, take-up systems, ground and elevated galleries, fire fighting system, etc.
• Inspection for the assembly and installation of offshore structures, like structural platforms (mooring, dolphin, sector light, etc.), boat landing structures, fender tripods, bollards, gangways, ladders, caissons, laser lifts, floating pontoons, etc.
• Pile pipe receiving inspection, inspection for cap beam positioning on piles (before and after welding).

Client: Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait (KNPC).

Project title: KNPC Clean Fuel Projects. MAA Package CFP-A/EPC-030.

Project Description: A strategic project to expand and upgrade the Mina Abdullah and Mina Al-Ahmadi refineries to be an integrated refining complex with a total capacity of 800,000 bpd.

Position held: QC Inspector (Coating, Welding, Piping, NDE, and GRE/GRV).

• Witnessing PQR, WPS, WQT, NDT, fit-up and weld visual inspection for piping, pipeline, and structures; destructive and non-destructive tests; hydrostatic and pneumatic tests; etc. In accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Conducted thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Witness inspection for personnel and procedure qualifications, material receiving and storage, ambient conditions, surface preparation, putty and wrapping (inner and outer) application, holiday and final visual inspection for wrapping coating.
• Conducted inspections for all stages during the hot tapping and piping tie-in activities.
• Conducted inspections for GRP piping and pipelines (fabrication and installation, bonder qualification, cleaning, resin mixing, fit layer, curing, hardness/barcol testing, visual inspection of lamination joints, pressure and gravity testing, post-blowing and flushing, final reinstatement).
• Coordinating with the NDT subcontractor for all NDT activities.

Project title: LLI Inspection for Clean Fuel Project 2020.

• Conducted inspection for Long Lead Items (internal and external inspection for static equipment, such as reactors and separators), review of documents, verification for proper preservation of equipment, receiving inspection of static equipment (vessel internals and externals), loose items and spare parts, weld inspection, weld overlay and cladding inspection, inspection for transportation damages, painting inspection, dimensional check, NDT, preparation of butt list, daily reports, etc.

Client: Zakum Development Company (ZADCO-Offshore) [P.M.C., PENSPEN]

Position held: QA/QC Inspector (Piping, Pipeline, Welding, and Coating (Onshore and Offshore Projects)).

Project Title 1: Satah Full Field Development Project; EPC Works for Produced Water Treatment Unit.

Project Title-2: EPC of 131 pig launchers and receivers across all ADCO fields.

• Involved in activities like material inspection, thickness and lamination checks by UT, split-tee fit-up, and welding, hot tapping, and stopple insertion. Fabrication, installation, and commissioning of the main oil line, temporary bypass line, installation of MOVs, LOR fixing, installation of the interlock system, installation of the jib crane, and pig launchers and receivers.

Client: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) [P.M.C., AMEC]

Project Title-1: Corrosion, Scale Monitoring, and Inhibitor Injection Package for SEK 14-GC’s.

• The project provided a comprehensive package for corrosion and scale monitoring, and inhibitor injection in the following fourteen (14) No’s GC’s at South East Kuwait (SEK), namely GC-1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, 20, 21, and 22. The monitoring system was to consist of monitoring access fittings and sampling points. The chemical injection system was to consist of injection points, the installation of chemical injection skids, chemical injection pumps, chemical tanks, and a suitable piping system from pump skids to various injection points. This project involved the installation of transfer pump skids, a suitable piping system to transfer chemicals from the transfer pump skids to all chemical injection tanks, a drain network, instrument air supply lines, chemical shelters, and eye wash and shower units.

Client: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)

Project title-2: New 52” LP and 42” HP fuel gas line from Shuaiba M/F (M/F SH-01) to M/F-‘X’ in Burgan.

• The project encompasses 14 km of 42-inch pipeline and 14.5 km of 52-inch pipeline, along with their tie-ins by hot tapping and cold cutting, fabrication and installation of jib cranes, pig launcher/receiver, installation of line break valves, and GOVs, etc. The total quantum of welding for 42 inches is 57,000 inches in diameter, and for 52 inches, it is 78,000 inches in diameter, with 20% radiography, 50% hardness, and all related civil, electrical, and instrumentation works.

Client: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Jamnagar.

Project title: Utility Expansion Project in RIL, Jamnagar, India.

• Executed specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
• Witnessed stage-wise inspection activities as per QCP, shop fabrication of piping spools and supports, and NDE during the stages of fabrication.

Client: KRL (Kochi Refineries Ltd).

Project title: DHDS Expansion Project, (Oxygen Plant Facility).

• Accountable for construction activities related to mechanical jobs while maintaining the quality innovation policy of the company, pipe spool and support fabrication as per drawings, along with the installation of static equipment, such as pressure vessels, skids, etc.

Client: KRL (Kochi Refineries Ltd).

Project title: Various mechanical maintenance, piping, and shutdown projects.

Project description: Like vacuum heater shutdown of the crude distillation unit, fabrication and welding of jacketed pipes of the sulfur recovery unit, seal welding of heat exchanger tubes, fabrication, welding, NDT, painting, and erection of the foam tank, piping shutdown of the sulfur recovery unit, etc.

• Planned, controlled, and monitored work efficiently to meet an agreed-upon program of deadlines by reporting daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Supervised all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, such as heat exchangers, heaters, pressure vessels, and piping, etc.
