“Work- Life balance” Keynote speakers address which focussed on ways to create a happy and healthy work and home balance while managing the demands of teaching in today’s society.

October 2012- ECTA Cairns Conference-

“Finding the calm within”- workshopped various techniques for natural relaxation and assisted participants to find the calm within simply and easily in their daily lives.

March 2013- C&K Cairns Conference-

“Connecting with Community” discussed ways that individuals can connect with the community which are mutually beneficial and rewarding, which then fosters community spirit and nourishment.

March 2013- C&K Sunshine Coast Conference-

“Whole Village Approach” focused on community involvement with a strong connection to natural environments and their healing aspects.

“Because it’s the right thing to do” focused on imbedding Indigenous perspectives into early childhood settings with mutual benefit, respect and strong local community involvement.

“Writing down your sorrow” “Telling Tales: The power of the Narrative- How sharing stories shapes and influences outcomes”. This presentation focussed on the writing workshops I run for bereaved parents. I elaborated on the healing potential of writing through connecting with one’s innate creativity and spirituality throughout the grief healing process.
