Responsibilities:
- The Installation and commissioning of the HORUS operating system which includes installing Host servers, NTP servers, Cisco switches, firewalls, Dell Storages, workstations and monitors. Patching Network and Fiber cables.
- The installation and commissioning of COMMSYS HW platforms (Commsys is an audio system that consists of a telephone system, public address, radio re-broadcasting AM FM, radio PTT and monitoring, etc.).
- Training, testing and configuration of HORUS and COMMSYS SW Platforms at both user and administration level and delivery of HORUS and COMMSYS training courses for new users.
- Conduct expert level testing in HORUS signalling, Audio (Commsys), IMS and PMCS modules.
- Executing HORUS SW and HW platform administration tasks including COMMSYS
- Fixing defects in HORUS platform using HORUS configure scripts, HORUS internal database configuration and HORUS SW processes architecture.
- Level 1 maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks for the HORUS and COMMSYS platform both SW and HW.
