• Scheduling and attending parent meetings.
• Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters.
• Aftercare duties: Homework assistance, outdoor and mealtime supervision.

In the beginning of the 2016 academic year I was asked to assist as acting principal in addition to teaching the grade 1 class. I remained in this position from 2016 - 2018.

During my role as acting principal, duties included:

• Coordinating morning staff meetings, discussing day-to-day running and activities of the Academy.
• Assisting with termly curriculum planning.
• Weekly assembly gathering for students and educators.
• Compiling and proof reading academic termly reports.
• Requesting and attending parent meetings throughout the academic year.
